The first half of the Tour du Mont Blanc for us is up the northern side of the Mont Blanc Massif, from Les Contamines in France to Champex in Switzerland. We actually joined the circuit from about the Col du Bonhomme in the bottom south-west corner, coming in from the GR5. The Tour de Mont Blanc can be started at any point around the circuit. Previously we have started from Chamonix in 2005, and also from Courmayeur in 2009 with Graham and Jenny.
