The Alt Via 2, known as the nature Trail, is a trekking trail of exceptional natural interest, beginning in Chardonney in the Camporcher Valley near Aosta, crossing the Gran Paradiso National Park, and ending in Courmayeur. We’ll be doing part of this trek as far as Rifugio Chalet de L’Epee, before turning off onto the High Glacial Route to join the Gran Traverse of the Alps. Our first two days from Pont Saint Martin to Pont Bozet, involve trekking through the Camporcher Valley before joining the traditional start of the Alt Via 2 in Chardonney.
