Home to Brisbane.
We’re up at 7am, and time for breakfast of meusli and yoghurt in teh common room of the YHA before packing and wandering through the streets to do a bit of shopping - a few more Icebreaker T shirts won’t go astray - and I buy 2 from the Torpedo sports store before returning to the YHA and getting a taxi to Nelson Airport. Our flight is at 11.20am, standby, and we’re lucky to get the last 2 seats on teh plane. It’s only a 40 minute trip across to Wellington where we wait 3 hrs for our 4.15pm flight to Brisbane.
A short 3hrs later and we’re at Brisbane airport and on our way home
