A bit chaotic today as at 5.30am when we're awake, our daughter calls to say it would be a good idea to leave today. Now. Right now, to catch a 10am flight from Milan. Lucky we’re half packed to move next door, so we knock on the door of Martine our host to try to arrange a taxi into Malpensa Milan, 150k away and we need to get there ASAP. To cut a long story short, 300 Euro and one hour later at 7am we’re in a Taxi, a late model sedan, flying down the autostrada to Malpensa, getting there at 8.10 am after a dream run through.
And we manage to score two business class seats to Abu Dhabi. But not so lucky for the next leg to Melbourne, so we need to stay over night at the Premier Inn Hotel, just outside the airport security check point.
A comfortable night in Abu Dhabi and next morning we managed to score 2 x business class seats on the 9.55am flight to Melbourne, then 2 x economy to Brisbane arriving at 9.30am Thursday Sept 15th
