Highlight today is reflecting on my 500k hikes then going home. I’m awake at 5am, have a cup of tea and catch the 6.18am bus 245A to Haukkalammentie, past Haltia then walk the 11k back to Brobacka before a 30 hour plane trip. It’s a warm morning 18°C, and no one else is about. I enjoy the solitude and look back on my 500k hikes this trip - the villages of the Saints Way and the moors of Smugglers way in Cornwall, the Cliffs of Cornwall along the South West Coast Path, then Wimbledon and walks along the Thames Path, and finally Helsinki and the Nuuksio National Park with its beautiful forrests and lakes.
I’m back in Brobacka at 9am, shower, pack, breakfast of bread and jam, coffee with Rachel, then 245a Bus to Espoon and 213X bus to Helsinki where I report my aggressive bus driver to the HSL Office. Train to the airport, then 5.25pm Flight to Nerita Business Class in seat 1d with great view of loo. 8hrs in Tokyo then QANTAS to Brisbane arriving at 7.30am Monday
