Jan’s Hike in Cornwall

Ian and I have walked and or cycled in Cornwall many times.  I first hitch hiked there in 1971 (OMG) then with Ian by train in 1975, and then cycling there in 1980.  Many years later in 2018 we hiked the first half of the South West Coast Path (SWCP) from Minehead to Falmouth, then in 2023 hiked the second half from Falmouth to Poole.  The SWCP hike is around the coastline of Cornwall, Devon and Dorset. This time while visiting John in 2024, my 300k hike is across the centre of Cornwall south from Padstow to Fowey on the Saint’s Way, then north from Looe to Boscastle on the Smuggler’s Way, before walking five days along a section on the SWCP from Boscastle to Newquay, a repeat of the SWCP which we did in 2018.

Ian and Robbie’s cycle in Croatia from Split to Dubrovnik

Ian and Robbie’s boat/cycle tour in Croatia combines an island hopping boat trip, with a cycle ride around each island, returning each night to the boat for dinner and bed.
